Troops.......The commercial fishermen around here say to run the macerator
pump for a few seconds every once in a while and it will never stick, even
when the tank is empty. If you lay awake at night fretting over a stuck
macerator pump, you could always add a few drops of water soluble oil down
your drain when you feel bored and that should solve any corrosion
problems with the pump. I've been using it in my radiators since a old-time
truck mechanic turned me on to the stuff. It helps keep the radiator and
block clean. I use about a quarter of a cup in with my antifreeze for each
vehicle. I don't know if it's biodegradable, so don't drink it! I'll bet
this gets us going on another subject.........Jim Davis, Where the weather
is always perfect on the Oregon Coast.
