Great idea. Forget vandals. It's the curious admirer
who asks "what is this switch" as he flicks it.
I solved the problem by using a pushbutton switch, NAPA has them as do
other parts houses, that is sealed by a rubber cover. I mounted the
switch inside the shore power opening. You can't even see the thing in
there and wiring it was quite easy. Push it and it works, let go and it
stops. At 10 gallons per minute it is no big deal to have to hold the
switch while the macerator is doing what it does so well.
