I got the Jabsco one with the 3" inlet adapter. (Model 18590-0010)
I'm hoping to install it right at the holding tank, or at least very close
to it. Looking at the pump it would seem that in order to get liquid into
the inlet the holding tank has to be partially full, or at least fuller that
emptying by gravity? I havn't actually taken the old system apart yet so I'm
just making some assumptions that are hopefully wrong.
Or do I have to artificially lower the inlet so that the macerator inlet is
always covered?
BTW: Someone mentioned that the Jabsco can be run dry, Operating
instructions say Do NOT run pump dry. Just thought I'd mention it... or did
I get the wrong pump?
