Lubrication

I bought a bunch of Redline CV-2 when I was rebuilding the CV's and front
wheel bearings, but I'll switch to Mobil1 grease when I run out. The CV-2
is great stuff and was supposedly developed for off-road racing
applications, but it's twice the price of Mobil1(also pretty hard to find -
Autozone stocks Mobil1 grease) and probably overkill for the GMC.

Gang, Just curious to know what sort of lubrications you have experience
with, aside from the Mobil 1 engine oil about which many of you have written
so glowingly?
Specifically, curious to know what you folks are packing the wheel bearing
with and what you're pumping into the zerks on the machine
