I have Driven Corvettes at over 153mph so does that make me qualified.
And I would have to have Murray Cook be in the co pilot seat to watch my
gauges and to flip on the rocket switch. Maybe we could mount a huge
helium tank inside to help light up the GMC. Just a thought.
I never take my GMC over about 75. How fast do most of you drive your
GMCs.

have some additional information on the requirements for the LSR:

1. Fitted with a 5 piece welded tubular steel roll cage to protect the driver

2. Single racing seat for driver(guess the passenger is on his own)

3. halon fire extinguisher for engine area and drivers compartment(thought
they were dangerous)

4. special straps and protective shields were installed to cradle the front
end of the drive shaft and transmission

5. locking device on steering wheel was disconnected

6. electric door locks disconnected (we wouldn't have a problem here)

7. Racing tires installed

8. Outside mirrors removed (can't see anyone trying to pass us if we did that)
