Hi Darryl,
One suggestion is something I learned from Bob Birdsall, a marine design
engineer In West Palm Beach, who has 4 GMCs and loves to dabble.
He took out the bolts (4, I think) that hold the steering column at the
bottom of the dash and put in longer bolts and spacers. This effectively
drops the steering column aout an inch and changes the angle somewhat.
This may not be enough for you but worth a look.
