Hi all,

Hubby and I are wanting to buy a GMC Eleganze, hopefully in blue, silver or
green, mid to late 70's. Must have a study base. Interior doesn't matter as
we plan to redecorate it to accomodate us and our 3 large dogs on road
trips! Newer engine, transmission, plumbing and water heater would be
important. Qe can repaint, restore bumpers and rehab interior. 24 or 26
feet. Do you have any recommendatins on reputable places or people to look
for and find our new motorhome? We are in Austin, Texas. Thank you so
much!! -- Ann Claire. Email annclaire Phone 310.864.6620.

Ain't no 24' :) 23' I have along with several other people. Mine's a Transmode, Norris upfit, bath in the back. If that's of interest send me a PM
here.

I see there might be a little education to be had. I would guess you just want to do some searching for a GMC motorhome, and if it ends up being an
eleganza, then that maybe a coincidence.

Start reading here:
http://www.gmcmotorhome.com/

and you can look for gmc for sale here:

http://www.gmcclassics.com/chatter/4sale.html

or facebook groups:

and here:

there are basically 2 lengths to choose from, 23' and a 26'. 73-78 models, and I personally would try to find a 76-78 model.

craigslist, and keep an eye on facebook. Ask lots of questions.

There are lots of GMC owners in Texas, but I do not know of any real "specialty shops" in Texas.
