Looking for a shift cable.

I'd look at Lokar, they must have one that will work. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Do you have one and it's just locked up? You should be able to free it up and lube it so it doesn't rust up tight again.

Thanks but it’s missing. gotta get a new one.

Someone posted a message on this thread, said he had one with his email. I was so excited thinking it was a gmc fella. I PayPal’d him. Then I got a creepy feeling, looked back at the thread and the message had been deleted. That’s when I knew I was boned. Be warned guys. hate to see it happen to someone else on here.

This was the first part to break on my 77.
I got a generic cable and made modifications that seem to work pretty well.
Let me know if you want more specifics. I don't have them at hand.

I put out that I need a transmission mount and soon received a message from a new member that a Richard Coulter(richardcoulter640@gmail.com)was advertising he had one.Sent$150 to his wife Jessica White by Venmo because my bank did not support the form of payment he wanted. The short story after different emails and no part I went for a refund so they had Venmo send me a bill for$100.Probably to scare me off.Don’t know if the new member is still around.

I can't seem to find what I originally purchased. It was a shifter cable replacement for (as I recall) a small US business produce floor mounted shifter. Probably for race but I don't recall, just bought the cable based on length.
You should measure what you have.
This site provides items like those I ended up using: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/p...qv2tY0HC1rNjtjS6_-5hQyu0Yc03TzLhoCc2cQAvD_BwE

Basically you hook a push-pull threaded cable at the shifter and the transmission. Then you have to establish the connection points to engage those provided by the cable housing and provide the actuation required.
I relocated the one near the shifter to a more direct shot and the trans end? Take a look at the picture. It works but isn't pretty.custom_cable_adjuster.webp
