Long time GMCMI member Joanna Tanner passed away

Very saddened to hear this news. I met the Tanners last Spring when I picked up my coach from Barry Owen following an engine rebuild. I was accompanied by her son, my good friend John Tanner. All terrific people.
So sad to hear this news.

This picture so perfectly encapsulates who Joanna Tanner is. This was taken at her very last rally back in August as they were leaving. You wouldn't know it from the picture but she was feeling really awful that weekend. The next week she was admitted to the hospital and fought the good fight over these last several months. Sadly the cancer came and took her too quickly.
We had the honor of being able to visit her and Eric and John very often over these last few months. Not nearly enough times though. We're so lucky to have known her and travel with them to motorhome rallies. This one will sting for a good while.
