Lots of you have posted some links to interesting places. Unfortuneately,
sometimes the messages get deleted from our hard drive. If you have the
time, please stop on by the GMC Motorhome "club" I started on Yahoo, and
post those links in the "Links" section. Point your browser to
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/gmcmotorhome
and click on on the left side of the screen. That will list the
first ten of however many links there are at the time. Click on "next 10" to
see the next ten links. If the link you want to post isn't already listed,
by all means, click on in the upper-right corner and put it in
there.
Although Patrick does a wonderful job with this mailing list and
www.gmcmotorhome.com, I was noticing many people on usenet and other
message-posting places who hadn't heard about it or any other GMC site. I
figured everybody has heard of Yahoo, so I decided to use them as a jumping
off point to all the other great GMC sites out there. Arch, of southern
Illinois, came to do the same thing a few days after I did, but saw mine
already there.
I try to test all the links, and correct typos if I find any, so if you
posted a link, and it says A62Dave did a few days later, that's why. So far
the errors have consisted of a missing "dot"s before the "com"s, and
filenames like "index.html" which should have been "index.htm" without the
"L". (Better yet, simply leave out any filename of "index.htm" or
"index.html": browsers look for them automatically if a filename is not
part of the URL.)
Thanx for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see more links posted.
Arch certainly has opened my eyes with all the links he posted to things
that I never knew were out there, like the new dashboard, cabinet, and other
manufacturers. Thanks Arch!
