Life and a GMC

My daughter Katelyn has just pointed out to me that if I had spent 1/2
as much time working on the GMC as talking about it on the Net or with
other people, I would have been done a long time ago. If you add a
heated garage to the equation, she would be correct.

I had to tell her in my most fatherly voice. Life is a journey, it is
not a destination...She pretended to understand. Nice kid.

Ron,

What Katelyn doesn't realize is that, without GMCnet, not nearly as much
work would get done, at least on my coach. To be truthful, it probably
saved my coach from a trip to the salvage yard. Four years ago, I had about
decided that it was too big a challenge for me and I couldn't afford to take
it to a "guru" to get all the work done. Then I decided to look for info on
the net and found none.

Setting up GMCnet was more an act of desperation than it was genius.

All I can take credit for is setting up the forum. It has benefitted me as
much as it has anyone else here. The real credit is due the guys(and gals)
that day-in and day-out step up to the plate to answer the questions(and
correct me when I screw up).

Patrick-

You are right, I have certainly saved a lot of time and money...read that alot
of money. I think that the fact that it has been too damn cold to go outside,
coupled with a quadrupeling of my workload, along with kids, has resulted in my
spending less than one day on the coach since our trip to Florida in December.
With the change in seasons, this too will change.

Thanks for keeping us up and running.
