I do not know how many of you have visited Golbys or not but I have several
times during my winter trips to Florida. I have to say that they were
polite, courteous and extraordinaily helpful. I spent half a day there just
taking pictures of various coaches and those in various stages of
restoration and all during that time some one was with me and helpful. I
spent 3 hours in their showroom taking pictures of the chassis on display
from every angle and during that time they gave me advice in what shots were
the most important.

Some things some of you may not know. Golby is responsible for SAVING the
original fiberglass GMC molds for the coach body of the GMC motorhome. When
they were about to be trashed he put up the big bucks and bought them. He
has a very nice shop and i was impressed by both the knowledge of his people
and their friendliness.

There are always two sides to every problem and while I am not sticking up
for Golby, we should give every business a fair shake. to put it simply
that firm has rebuilt some very fine coaches and has done superb work. Is
there a problem now? I don't know but I can assure you that if I had one, I
would put it to them straight out and get it rectified.

One thing I have learned in many years of doing business. Many times their
is a problem in communiction between customer and business and things are
not done to either parties satisfaction. Remember Golbys like any other
business is in busness to make money. If someone tells you different WATCH
OUT!! I have no idea how the various dissatisfacions happened but would bet
that if I sat down with both parties and entirely different scenario than
told by either party would unfold.

Bottom line. Lets be fair to everyone before making such a rash judgement.
Want to relly settle it. Let the injured parties write up their complaiint
in detail for all to see here, and than I will submit them to Cliff Golby
for his side to be displayed here for all to see. Fair enough?

Tom, Sage advice and well said. But I'd expect that from a fellow who has
gone way out of his way to help us solve our front wheel bearing problems in
a cost effective manner and delivered a superb product.
Stay with it, dude. :-)
