Hey Troops..........If your leak detector costs over 49 cents, you've been
cheated. Hippie hop into the dime store and head back to the toy
department. Get a jar of the stuff the kid's blow bubbles with. Paint it on
with a small brush and you'll instantly find the leak. My grandfather
taught me this back in the 1940's at his garage. The stuff has lots of
glycerin in it so the bubbles hold together......Jim Davis, Oregon Coast

Tried that stuff... didn't work. The leak was so slow that it took days to go
down. Found it with the stuff I found at Graingers. Seems it had to sit a
while. So, with the slooooow leak, it took some time

Been out of touch for a while, so if this is a duplication, sorry.
I bought a small spray bottle of gas line leak detector at Sears. Can't
remember how much it cost, but it was reasonably cheap. Worked for me - seemed
quite sensitive and easy to use.
