Dave G:

I've heard your description of the PVC holder for your 1" dump hose, but
can't visualize where things fit at the business end.

I'm looking to make it easier for my lady who has to do the "dirty" work
(along with driving, checking the oil, cooking, etc. etc. etc), and if I'm
going to have a maserator system installed, knowing exactly how it should
be done will reduce the chances that who ever I have do the work will screw
it up.

Could you describe how the 20 ft. length of PVC is mounted to the frame and
especially where the open end is. I assume the hose from the pump passes
thru a secure point somewhere within a foot or so from the open end of the
PVC, but can't quite visualize where things attach.

Is it pictured anywhere?

TIA,

No photos available but let me try to draw a mind picture.

First, the tube was heat bent slightly ( perhaps 130 degree angle?) at
the open end (rear of coach) and pushed down the inside of the frame on
the driver's side. I believe there is a stop in the frame toward the
front of the coach, otherwise a longer tube could be used.

The tube is held in place with heavy duty wire wraps and the open end is
just about at the level of the rear cross member. The hose from the pump
comes up just under the rear cross member and is fixed, again with wire
wraps. It is close enough that only a small loop occurs before it is fed
into the storage tube. I drilled a few 1/4" holes at the front end of the
tube since it butts up against the stop in the frame. This allows any
water to drain out.

Alex Sirum did the installation and I have been happy with it for the
past 5-6 years.

If you will go to the web site Gene Fisher has, there are pictures of a mac
installation, and I did mine as well.
