My '73 has a factory installed Kholer. If you look in
the GMC manuals it indicates both Kholer and Onan were
used.
The guy that services mine in Tulsa says that they are
great units, maybe even a little more reliable than
some of the other brands - I'm just telling what he
told me.
One word of advice that was passed along to me; NEVER,
EVER WASH THE UNIT WITH WATER. When I got mine it was
pretty dirty, I was going to turn the hose on it,
fortunately I asked the service guys first.
