Hey Susan,

That's fair game here too. We don't always talk parts and stuff. Sometimes
we even share cookie recipes!

Ask away,
Patrick

Well, you could always ask here. It would be very nice to have some less
technical questions!

There is an RV newsgroup "rec.outdoors.rv-travel" that sometimes has good
information. However, you'll have to sift through a lot of "heavily
opinionated" posts to get to anything that you can a)trust, b)use. Don't
let my relatively negative opinion of the newsgroup stop you from trying it
out. I scan the group and once in a while post something. If you do post a
question, be prepared for an occasional flame or two.

Susan - those of us on this site seem to share a lot of common
interests besides working on the GMC which even includes using it
once in a while such as by camping. I don't think that there would
be any problem about your asking for info or posting info about quite
a wide variety of topics. We've occasionally touched on topics such
as Corvettes and other old cars, dominos, flying, recipes, ham radio,
computers, computer viruses and so on. I personally think that it
helps us to get to know one another a bit better and gives a little
variety to our lives rather than always just having straight
technical discussions and data.

There are some topics that all of us have shied away from such as
politics, religion, sex, pros and cons of the A-bomb, etc. but an
occasional foray into a relatively non-GMC topic has not been a
problem. If it is not of interest the thread will die out quickly by
itself or we can count on Patrick to put a damper on it if, in his
infinite wisdom, he feels that it is off base.

Please ask your questions. I think that we all like to see some new
people on this site and are looking forward to your input.

You want mine? the squirrels, that is, I just had to replace all the fuel
lines on the "Blue Yonder". little buggers chewed into the gasline and cut
the vapor line, just downstream of the tank transfer valve. Cute little tooth
marks. ARRGGHHHHH..

Larry,
You reminded me that the only GMC I saw on my California round trip was on
the way back last Sat between Albuquerque and OKC. Heading westbound mid
afternoon nearing Texas border on I-40. There was one parked in a lot south
of Pine Bluff, AR that I'm gonna go back to check on.
