I know that lots of you are already club members, but this is a pitch for a
really terrific organization that is in dire need for continued support and new
members to stay alive and relevant.
Ya'll join the GMC Motorhomes International club (GMCMI). It's a great
organization that has all our best interests at heart. Dues are going up to $40
next year so do it now and you won't be up for renewal until January 2018.
Although it's a great organization, if you don't want to join FMCA, check the
box to become an associate rather than a full member. It'll save you $50 and
you'll still enjoy all the benefits of becoming a GMCMI member.
It really is a good club. I haven't helped promote it for a couple years now and
membership has really suffered. They were over 2000 members many years ago and
now are down to just about 1000 or less. I feel sorta bad about it. If we can
boost membership back up, perhaps they can lower dues back to $30 a year.
Think about it. It's only $30 a year (for now). That's less than a half a tank
of gas. Support the people who support you. It's a bargain!
