I blew a Winterfeldt engine with 22,000 miles at the International
Convention in New Hampshire. Mike Glover replaced it for me with a 455
Jasper. Lucky for me, we ordered it on Wednesday afternoon, they shipped on
Friday, we received it on Morning, and we were back on the road on Wednesday
afternoon.

I now have about 18,000 miles on the Jasper and I am very satisfied. I'm
getting about 1100 miles per quart of oil.

I remember having dinner with you last year at Jim Bounds. Good luck with
the new engine

Would someone please post the Jasper address and phone number (for future
reference).

Thanks,

[Admin note - Mike, Be sure you're using the right "From" address.
This one bounced. Patrick]

I have about 12,000 on a Jasper with no problems so far and tons of pep
and power. It is a 455 and pulling a 28'. Oil consumption appears to
be about 1qt between each oil change. I change every 2500 miles. I
also have an original GMC factory from 1978) with 79,000 that still
gets 800+ miles per qt.
