jack chains

the chains on my jack are missing.how many do i need and how long are they?

I have the original jack, and it has a 40" chain (35 links) and a single
hook. The hook is almost 5" long, and has a 2" throat or whatever you call
a hook slot. The hook says ACCO 73 Drop Forged and has a 2 on the other
side. The links are a little over 1 3/4" and are stamped A8. HTH.
