Arch what part number valve did you get. I probably have the info. The
valves should be larger.

I know from experience Lynn starts early, best to call him sometime after 7
am....

their phone rings all day, I sat outside his office for an hour waiting for
him to get off.

He is the only one there who answers the tech questions.

ARch you got the best valves you can get for the GMC and towing. You must
have told Mondello that you were going to install hardened valve seats.
Thats why he gave you the 5282 intakes. They are the largest size that can
be installed with hardened inserts. The 5275 is a swirl polished stainless
hard tip & hard chromed stems, 45 degree seat, 2.072" head diameter, for
high performance street, towing and all fuels. The 5282 exhaust is a 1.625"

Your problem is that your machine shop does not know how to install them.
Get the technical manual and you will see that it says that you have to
valve port to use them.
