For those of you who have replaced master cylinders while installing rear
disks (including modifying the combo valve to remove the delay piston),
what bleeding method worked?

I ran maybe two quarts through the system using JimH’s pressure bleeder,
and at least another quart using a helper (who is a certified aircraft
mechanic) pumping the pedal. I’m still not really sure I have the air out
of it. I’m letting it settle now—did the bleeding on Monday and am going
back tomorrow—but if the pedal still feels mushy (especially with the
engine running), I’m out of ideas.
