Is there a simple way to pull the spindles out of the rear suspention arms?

Bob, no simple way. The manual shows a kent-moore tool that can be
utilized. I thread the 4 holes in the spindle, and use a piece of 1/2 "
plate with a nut welded to it in the center with a hole that aligns with
the nut. Drill 4 holes that correspond with the holes in the spindle, and
screw some grade 8 bolts into the threaded holes in the bogie from the back
side. Take a matching bolt that fits the welded nut, and screw it down to
push against the spindle. Tighten the hell out of it, spray your favorite
penetrating oil on everything, and hope for the best. If the bogie arms are
not going to be re-used, heat them smoking hot with an oxy/acetelyne torch
and smack the back of the center bolt with a heavy hammer. Manny uses a
huge plumber's pipe wrench and twists on the spindle flange. Others will
swear by a high quality air impact hammer on the back of the spindle. If
the spindles are as tight as the ones I have encountered, it will take mega
force to dislodge them. Good luck. I have pictures of the took I made it
you want them.

We have the tool, but encourage our guys to load it then take a 10 lbs
sludge hammer and wack the sides and it will then releive the friction and
pop out.

Pryor welded me a duplicate of the Hupy Tool. That was the second time the 40 dollar Freight, Harbor impact wrench paid for itself. Kettle of hot
water over it, wait about a minute, drive it out.

I just tapped two of the holes 7/16-20 (iirc - I would have to look in the box) and used a damper puller to do it.

Life is too short to hold a grudge; slash some tires and call it even !

Used to call the stuff freeze mist, great for finding temp sensitive electronics.

In reality. Since the arms are out of the coach. Should be able to use my press to remove. Or a BFH to get the spindles out. Bob Dunahugh
