Is the rear window gasket/seal generally good to uses for the replacement glass?

I have had good luck reusing them. Just clean real good and use glass cleaner for lube to reinstall. Tire soap also works well. You will need a
tool for putting in the lock strip but it's not expensive. Rope method works well or you can work it in with plastic glass knives.

Thanks Charles for your conformation on the gasket. The only gaskets like that. That I've had issues with were from Arizona. Plus I have zero experience with the GMC rear window.
