Why has there been so little discussion about the 1999 GMC Motorhomes
International Fall Convention at River Oaks Camping Facility in Forest City,
Iowa?

I sure hope that we ain't the only folks from the list that are going. The
wife has been nutz with excitement and packing stuff in the GMC for a month.

Any idea how ling it will take to drive from central NC to Forest City,
Iowa?

I can only go to one of em, so I'm choosing Albuquerque. It's much closer
for me (only 550 miles) and I think that I'll get to meet many more of the
GMCnet'rs there. Hope to see you there also Tom. Looks like it's about
1,100 miles for you to go to Forest City.

It's 1,600 miles from Troutman to Alburquerque, but if you go straight from
Forest City, it's only another 1,150 miles.

Good Luck on your trip!

I sure wish that we could attend Iowa but are unable to (I am envious). We
are planning on attending the GMC International at Mt Hood Or. next year
which isn't to far from us here in Idaho. To all that are going to Iowa HAVE
A GOOD TIME!

Tom, based on the unsubscribe activity I've been getting from majordomo,
I'd say it's likely many of those going have already left. I doubt
you'll be alone - wish I was going.

Have fun, drive safe,
Patrick

Tom,

I'll be there. Paul Bartz, Richard Waters and some others are
convoying, but I can't leave until Sunday so I can't join them.

BTW, do you have one of JR's outrageously priced GMCnet badges? I hope
the 'netters will wear them so I can figure out who they are!

Michigan State plays Iowa at home on the last day of the convention, so
you can find me by the green & white flag!

What I believe this refers to is the package of updates to the air tank (water
seperator, new pop-off valve, air gauge and valve to keep air from returning to
pump).

You'll love the people in Iowa!! We used to go every summer for the RAGBRAI bike ride across the state. Using my vacation this year to go to the New Mexico Rally in October 1776 mile from NC on I-40. Leaving on Oct1 returning 10/11. Tom, I know you'll represent us NC'ers well have a safe trip!!
