I will introduce myself at long last. I am a simi lurker , I am not
knowledgeable enough to help out on GMCNet but I sure can ask questions.
Marlene Meineken husband Bud Meineken, I am mechanically inept but I try.
Know just enough to get in trouble. GMC owner a little over a year. Am glad
that I have been accepted so well here(Bud doesn't touch PC so it's up to
me. Live in Idaho where we now have about a foot of snow.
Now for my question The side dinette was removed by previous owner and
replaced with a pair of chairs and table. Not comfortable and to crowded.
Usually if you can find a used dinette the cost of shipping outweighs the
cost of the dinette. I wonder if anyone has ever made a pattern to rebuild
the dinette or could someone take on this project.
This is the side Dinette in a # 3 floorplan.

What would you like to do for the cushions or do you have the fold down ones to
put in place? Would you be interested in aluminum bases? I have to build mine
also and will have a pattern by May. Darren

Sorry, Marlene, I beat you to it. I just got my dinette from Bob Morriss in
Cortland, NY. I swapped my front seats and the two swivel chairs with him for
the dinette. Depending on budget, you might be better off getting a couple of
fold out units (e.g. flexsteel). If you want to do the dinette in wood, let me
know. They are out of the coach now and I could do up some drawings with
measurements. They are really quite simple.
