Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name's Jamie and I just took ownership of a 1976 Palm Beach 28' stretch. My stepdad owns a '75
Glenbrook, and my wife and kids thought it was so much fun to use that we decided to buy our own. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions over time
and plan to use this forum as a resource extensively. The learning curve is a little daunting at the moment, but I'm up for the challenge.

The Colonial Travelers meetup in the Gettysburg area in the spring, so maybe I will get to meet some of you in person there. Looking forward to it!

Hello Jamie:

Welcome to the list.

Was in your back yard for a rally at Drummer Boy campground this spring.

There are a couple of groups you should be aware of:

www.gmcmi.com http://www.gmcmi.com/

GMC Tidewater Crabs https://gmctidewatercrabs.com/

Enjoy!!!

Thanks Dolph! Drummer Boy is one of several nice campgrounds we have in this area. I think the Colonial Travelers met at the "Gettysburg Campground"
last year. Not sure what the plans are for 2020. My stepdad and Mom, John and Diane Novicki, help coordinate that one.

I plan to join GMCMI and will also check out the Tidewater Crabs.

John Novicki’s re-enactment a couple of years back was epic.

This year he said he stopped because he’s literally twice the age of the man he portrays.

Nice folks all around.

Jamie,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum.....

You do know that most of us were born knowing all about this stuff? Right?!
You have a lot of a good plan started. You are in range of Colonial Travelers, and The Great Lakers (I know). You don't have to be a member of any
to ask for help here. You can actually join any GMC chapter you fancy.

I see that you started out with a good sigfile and that is great. It is great because these people will want to help all they can. There are not
many communities as helping and supportive as this. We all want you to enjoy your coach and what it can do for you and your family as much as we all
know it can.

If you can possibly....
The fall international convention is in Mansfield OH. in early October. That is about 350 miles for you. If you trust the coach (I know it is new to
you) try to make it there. You can learn more in a day just listening than you even thought you might not discover.

This community is so helpful and supportive that I have taken to welcoming new owners much as a new owner would be welcomed among the watermen of my
world that are also so supportive. So,

May the Good Lord Bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome Jamie et al

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys!

Matt - I'm not going to be able to make it to the convention this year, but plan on attending at least one next year. I'm sure I could learn a lot
from both the sessions and the attendees.

Looking forward to meeting you all. I'm sure we'll cross paths at some point.

Yeah, I am having trouble with the forum when accessed from Firefox.

I got Firefox and it has trouble with pretty much everything in the last couple of updates.

Jamie, if you can't make Ohio, consider a two or three day ride to Louisiana next Spring for the Convention there. Assuming there's no high water in
the Atchafalaya and Bayou Fourche. :)
