Tulsa Computer Society website. EVERYONE needs this protection, even with
dial-up. It is not a matter of someone accessing your information---they
can take control of your computer & do whatever they wish--i.e.: format your
hard drive. If you are a non-believer, I can give you a brutal personal
demonstration. A firewall will also stop Spyware & Trojan Horses---A/V
software will not.
I only wish my VW bug had been like tom's & not required regular
maintenance, like valve adjusting, timing, brake adjusting, etc.---"drive
'em like you're mad at 'em & they'll love you."
I'm replacing my spare tire today with Dave's credit card. (under spare
cover, of course.)
