Some of you might be interested in this for email while on the road.

I just ordered one of these neat looking gadgets for my in-laws. I'd like
for them to have email and web access without the hassle of having to learn
their way around a real computer. It might also be a "not so expensive"
alternative way to receive and send email while on the road. I oughta have
one by the 24th and will report my findings.

Uses a phone line to connect and you have to use them as ISP...
