As some of you know I am turning a simple rehab of a Birchaven into a life's work...
I have pondering the addition of an aux AC Condenser plugged into the existing vehicle compressor. There are many options out there from existing
vendors, but I am not a fan of the aesthetics of an underdash unit, and I was wanting to add some cooling capacity to the back seat passengers. A
universal trunk mount from vintage air underneath the bench seat, or perhaps a mens mall rear ac unit, etc.
Then I stumbled across this:

Its only available as a complete kit for $600, but the evaporator is just the right size and shape to fit in between the dinette seats, or on a back
wall somewhere.
I have asked the seller if the evaporator could be purchased separately.
Now, mounted at the dinette, the wall unit is fattest at the base, where the body curves inward, so it would eat into some inside passenger
legroom...

guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center...
