Intake Manifold

Olsmobile Intake manifold Y 412753. Does any one know what year it is
from. Would it be better than the stock manifold. It fits OK but is 2"
higher than stock.

Frank your manifold is from a 1974, 455 4bbl, L-74, L-75 EGR Iron manifold.

My cousin has a soft spot for big American car engines, in addition to 9
60's muscle cars, he has a totally rebuilt 455 he was planning to drop into
a Delta 88.

To use in a GMC I would need an intake manifold. Does anyone know a source
for such a part? Does anyone make new parts of this type?

Any assistance would be appreciated. Tony

Better change the cam and re-jet the carb before the drop in.
