Thought individual's who have not insured their coach for declared value be
made aware one of my friends costly experience.

He had his motorhome inside of his garage. With the excessive snow fall
150-250 inches each winter his garage roof fell in and completely
destroyed the motor home. His motorhome was worth $9500.00 but the
insurance company said the blue book price was only $4500.00 so he was out
$5000.00. He did not have it insured for the declared value so he ended up
on the short end of the stick.

Next time he'll have the motorhome appraised for declared value so that the
insurance policy will reflect that on the policy.

He would like to replace his motor home with another one but is not
interested a GMC coach at this time.

If anyone out there has a motorhome (not a GMC coach) in the price range of
$20,000-$25,000 price range, 26ft range, with a couch, can be class A or C
prefer's chevy engine here is your chance to sell yours in order that you
can purchase the GMC coach that you been waiting for.

You can E-mail John Ennett at: men9152915aol.com or phone 906-475-4709

It would be interesting to know what "Blue Book" Mr Ennett's insurance
company used. In the NADA book I've never seen a GMC for less than
$13-15k average retail.
But the point is well taken.

For an additional $50/year I had my coach value raised from "book" to
$43,000 by having it appraised.

I sure would like to get that destroyed coach identified in the Registry.
I'll contact Mr Ennett directly.

Dave: Sorry I misled you on the motorhome. It was not a GMC coach. I
believe it was a Coachman but not certain. I only wanted to inform
individuals that they should insure their coaches for the appraised value.
Sorry about that.
