I have done a bunch of installs on boats and RV's. I have found two things
essential besides common sense. #1. 12 volt fan on a temp gauge and #2.
Insulation from the outside, especially of the coach on a GMC. I changed the
paint line on a 23' to accentuate the windows and blam!!!!, that black to
the sun stopped the cooling in its tracks. I had to use that copper solar
blanket taped to the refer area on the outside of the coach to make any
cooling at all.
