Speaking of tables for the front of the GMC. I would like to get
something to house my TV and VCR. I see them all the time in coaches
that I see, but no idea where they come from. Are these made by the
owners or can they be purchased someplace. I would sure appreciate
any information.

I bought a $29 table from K Mart and Formica'd the top and painted the
sides to suit me. It holds a 13" TV/VCR combo very comfortably and has a
drawer for junk.

Dave,
First of all thanks for the advice. Sounds like I could go to Kmart or a
similar
discount store (Wally World) and buy something cheap and repaint etc. I'm
going
out there tonight and look.

Second, and most importantly am I the only one that read your message:

"In a couple of weeks I will be heading out west til late October and
since I will have to detach myself from the Net ( perhaps surgery will be
required!) "

Dave, you can't leave all the flowers will die!

Seriously, don't tell me that you're going to be away from the GMCnet
until October! If that's true, this place will be a lot less interesting.

If that's true (I'm sure your reasons are good) I'm going next door and
get my neighbors TZE number ASAP.

Thanks for the info and wit,

I made a TV stand using Gene's idea of mounting it to the firewall. I gave
Jim Bounds a pattern for making the supports. It works very well and you
can still raise the engine hatch without moving the TV. Thank you Gene for
the idea.

I also saw all those photo's of TV/VCR cabinets in the coach and owner
articles in the Motorhome Marketplace, soooooo, I just looked, admired and
did some figuring in my head and a bottle of Tylenol later, went out in the
garage and built one that my wife decreed.

Bill,

What browser and screen resolution are you using? I just checked the
page and it looked fine. Anyone else had this problem on my site?

I'm using 768x1024 and it shows up fine. However, I adjusted it to 640x480
justto check it out and part of the text was covered up with pictures.

Hope this helps

Patrick I still have the same problem . Starting from top of TV/VCR page the
1st pic is fine, the 2nd and 3rd pictures are missing and won't come up
w/thumbnail. The 4th pic coveres the skinny line of writing on left side of page,
5th is fine 6th is the same as 4th.

Try hitting the "Reload" or "Refresh" button just in case your ISP's
proxy server still has an old copy in cache. If that don't work, it's
back to the drawing board.
