An off net friend ask me if I knew what the ohms should read at full and
empty- I didn't know but told him I could find out, don't let me down now.

We used to take a #57 Insturment bulb in series with the wire that was
going to the tank unit. Disconnect the wire from the tank place it to a
good ground connection, you should be able to see close to a 1/2 tank
reading on the guage on the dash. Dont forget to turn on the ignition.
