I got a brake bleeder kit from Autozone for around $3.00
Its a hose, nipple adapter and bottle. The bottle has a magnet
on it to stick on the autobody. Kind of a problem with our
GMCs. I found a spot on the frame to stick it to. Blead the
front brakes in less then Five minutes. After I had replaced
the front brake lines. I think I also replaced the rear
brake lines, But can't remember.

Re: Russel Speed Bleeders
Sounds like a good idea Frank. I was not aware such a thing
existed. I have though, recently bled a hydralic clutch in a
similar manner.
In this case the bleeder valve stands straight up. I laid a
piece of "cling wrap" over the bleeder valve and pumped away.
Worked good!
Actually I liked it better than bleeding with a partner because
theres no yelling "depress-release, depress-release,...,...".
I've not yet tried it on brakes, but it looks like "same song,
different verse", to me.
Havent yet tried it on a bleeder valve oriented other than
straight up, but again it looks the same. The only difference
being that of having to fashion some manner of holding the
cling wrap near the bleed valve outlet. (rubber band?, bread
wrapper tie wire?, or ?)
I'll continue to try this method and will report any other than
satisfactory results if that happens.
