Mark's comments regarding the need for quantative data on improvements
triggered one of my infrequent contributions(?). I had planed to have a
Gtech accelerometer at the Albuquerque rally so we could run some simple
tests on the fairgrounds track. Unfortuneatly they are back ordered
from the manufacturor and may not be available by Oct 5. If anyone
knows of a source that has one in stock let me know. I will buy it and
I am not looking for contributions as I figure it will be useful at
various rallys.
I have been asked to lead a discussion on brake mods at one of the
seminars. This will not be a how to do it, but rather what is out there
and how do they affect parameters like braking force balance and heat
build up.
BTW I am only 30 minutes from Turbo-City and have visited them and
discussed the system with Vic Morrow. If face time will help I would be
glad to drop in on them. Would put one in my self but they wont pass
the smog visual required in CA. My yet if I can figure out a quick
change approach (half a day).
