Hi folks.

Hopefully someone can help.
The speed sensor used for the digital dash is a sine wave generator type as
is my extra one and my new toy (AV-10 engine Monitor) needs a Hall Effect
type.

I'm hoping that someone can tell me what make/model of car might use that
type of speed sensor so that I can go find one at a local dealership. The
type I'm looking for goes inline with the speedo cable.

I actually have an extra sitting on the input side of the cruise control
which is no longer used (old EFI scheme) and that's where I'd like to put
this new Hall Effect sensor.

TIA -- Heinz

Heinz,

Check out http://www.jagsthatrun.com . They write books for EFI
conversions and either operate or work with Stealth conversions which has
many different VSS sensors.

The speed sensor info is on
http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/SpeedSensors_Speedometer.html .

The prices are on http://www.jagsthatrun.com/Pages/Stealth.html .

If they don't have what you need, they at least might know where to get it.

Zak
