I've done it both ways, engine in coach and pulled it out. this last one I did with engine out and on a engine stand was by far easier to work on. But then I was not the one who pulled the engine out and not the one putting the engine back in. It is hard if working alone because you are constantly moving from underneath the coach to working up top through the engine hatch. Engine out and on a stand, it is all right there in front of you making the engine work easier and less likely to take short cuts or forget something. JWIT
