Arch,
I had the same problem. It drove me nuts for a while trying to figure out what
was wrong.
It turned out I had a crack in the holding tank near the top on the edge.
Apparently there were 2 sections that were glued or bonded together. I got a
crack there. It only leaked when about 3/4 full or when I was parked on an
incline.
What made it bad was that stuff from the tank would collect on the top of the
tank in some reinforcing ribs. That stuff went bad and smelled. It got so bad
my wife wouldn't go inside the coach. I didn't find out the cause until after I
pulled the tank out and had it replaced.
I guess you know what's involved with pulling the holding tank out :^(
I hope that's not what you have to do!
Good luck,
Richard
