I'm an electronics guy, but I don't have a propane fridge, so I won't say anything there.
For your generator remote control, there is a connector under the coach, behind the generator which it likely corroded. There are 4 wires going to the
remote control:
- Ground
- Start (ground this wire to start the generator)
- Stop (ground this wire to stop the generator)
- 12 volts when running (powers the "Run" light on the remote switch and powers the hour meter)
The connector is exposed underneath but its not weather-proof so its likely corroded. Most people just cut the connector out and splice the wires
together in a weather-proof manner.
