I need someone to cross post the following to the facebook GMC group(s). I think there are 2 groups of them. I do not have, and definitely do not
want, a facebook account. I would still like to help those people on facebook if they want it. You can also put this up on any of the GMC club web
sites if desired without my pre-approval.

Please post the following and re-word or format as necessary.

Subject: Windshield installations at the GMCMI Amana rally

New GMC windshields will be available for installation at the GMCMI Amana rally on September 22 and 23 with a rain date of Sep 24.

ALL windshields must be pre-ordered. We have cleaned out 2 of the 4 US warehouses and have 22 available. Of those 22, as of 8/12/2018 there are 16
pre-ordered (reserved), so there are 6 left.

These are the same people doing the work that we have used in 7 previous GMCMI rallies and a few others GMC events. If you are not attending the rally
I can still get them to install new windshields on a Saturday in NW Indiana. They did a pair yesterday.

I prefer email but you can also find my unlisted home phone number on the GMC blacklist. If you call and get my voice mail, SPEAK SLOWLY AND REPEAT

Ken,

Gordon did do a nice cross post for you.
However, I have a question for a friend. He needs only a left windshield.
Are you numbers of available Single Sides or Pairs?

There are are 3 pairs / 6 singles left. usually people get a pair, but we can handle singles. I have 2 singles paired up right now for Amana. I
need a single left for mine that is not in the list. Since the order has not shipped, when I total it up if there is an odd left or odd right that
could be paired, we will change the order accordingly. Once we pass that cut off date we are stuck with what we ordered because the pallets are in
transit.

I had one single not installed at Mansfield because someone's coach broke down and did not make it there. We made an announcement of one available
and it was gone in 5 or 10 minutes.

The simple answer is: yes, they will do singles.

Best would be to ask a FB'er to post just a link to this thread and a note to check back for current status on the various FB pages (I know of Classic
GMC Motorhomes, Vintage GMC Motorhomes, and Classic GMC Motorhome Parts - not counting EFI or Club pages).

Then you have control of the information and can clarify/update in just one place.

You are right. It would have been a good idea. Unfortunately it already got posted. I do not know if postings over there can be modified or not.

Oh well, at least it got done.

Every rally at least 2 or 3 people show up asking if they have any extras.

Side note. We were asked years ago not to post pricing on the forum. So this why I give out the pricing via email to those whose ask for it.

Thanks Gprdon. I had to leave to make a train at South Bend this evening and did not have time to send you that request. Kim alerted me and then

You are welcome Jon. I am down to 4 left but the number might change. I have one GMCer who expressed interest earlier that I have been able to
contact now. So his slot may become available soon.

I am glad that you are happy with the results. In the 9 or 10 years they have been doing them for us I have never heard a complaint with their work.
