Does anybody have one or two 16" straight steel radial rims the right profile and dimensions for a GMC motorhome that they want to part with?

If a thousand miles away, maybe it/they could be relayed closer to Upper Alabama.

How many dollars for each?

I have seven from a '78 in northern Indiana. Went to Alcoa's.

Do you need to keep them together as a set when you get rid of them, or can you sell one or two?

If they are the original from the '78 wouldn't they be 16.5" wheels? But (unlike the '73 wheels) they should at least be radial rated. I think A
Hamilto was looking for 16" wheels.

I have a good one just north of Cincinnati OH. Very few miles on it. I bought it in the 80's new for '78 dually I was building. So it may be
aftermarket and not be GM but is straight with no rust. I never mounted it to the truck but did put a few miles on the GMC locally. I went to Alcoas.
It currently has a Michelin mounted.

If we could figure out how to relay it to someplace south of Nashville, I could pick it up there.

If we can get past that hurtle, how many dollars do you need to get for it?

Sorry to take so long answering. My brother came in from FL. $50 should do it. I don't have any ideas about transport. I am about 20 miles from I 75
at about 30 mile marker or 20 miles from I 74 at 275.

I can come up with $50. Now we just have to get it South. Is the tire off of it?

I may well be going that way myself in January. I'll watch for an opportunity to send it south before then. I'll remove the tire unless you want it.
It's a Michelin but only good for a spare... DOT 3007.

If the tire is good for a spare, leave it on. It might be better than the spare I have.

January is fine. That will give me time to return my Christmas presents for cash to pay for it. :) I just need it before March.

You should have either a place that sells used wheels or a salvage yard.
Look for a Firestone Accuride 16 inch wheel number 27994 from 1979.
I found six of them in Houston at various places, typically at about $35 each
and have them on my coach, though I have not driven it as there are some starting
issues and the tires are off my Alcoas and ten years old.
I recall looking for the Radial designation to be sure they are compatible and they are.
