While at our mini-rally, Dean Hanson asked a question that I did not
recognize immediately as a great new GMCnet product for our NC production
guy Tom.

Dean asked "does anyone make an adaptor we could take with us when we go to
have our wheels balanced???"

Now that is a great idea! As I watched them balance the new tires for my
car yesterday, it came to me that you (GMCnet-ers) need to design a cheap,
light ring / adaptor that we could all carry with us. I would think the
tolerances are not very critical and that balancers are so similar that a
universal adaptor could be built.

So what say Tom, Darren, any one, can we make this happen?

I have an Idea!..lol
I just did some work on my 94 Dodge Ram...anyway the
hub was damaged by a set of bad bearings...The rotor
needed to be turned and no one in town could do it...
This was with the hub removed from the rotor..leaving
a big centerhole in it ( The rotor ). I thought maybe
these autoshops need to take an old hub and turn it in
a lathe cutting the center out......then it could be
used to mount the rotor to the machine they use!!!
Make any sense???
Same concept might work for your wheel balancer ring...
