Altough i own a Newmar Dutchstar DP MH,my lifetime love for Chevy/Gmc products brought me here.I think the vintage GMC Motorhome is the coolest ever built. Too old now,but if ii had to do it all over,I probably would have rebuilt one from the ground up.Sure is some very nice units posted on this forum and learning thru mods and rebuilds applies to all. Thanks for letting me join.Hopeful learning and ideas to post follow.

Rod,
Apart from the fact that most (if not all) that write here will agree, I think you are correct.
If you really want to see them, track down a local owners chapter. Then, after the current plague gets handled and we get back to living a life, go to a rally. Most all have an open house day that is most often Sunday. Most owners will welcome you in and give you the tour. Be Real ready....
Many that are even close to original have been redone in splendor. (Mine is still real close to OE and kind of shabby, but we love her.)
We often joke that if an owner does not want to talk about his coach that there may be medical issues.
