I believe the original AC units were about 20Amps+ to start and close to 15 amps running.
At 12 volts @ say 80% inverter efficiency, that's about 250Amps to start and about 190Amps running. What that comes down to.. if you are running two
6 volt golf-cart batteries, your real-time running time for the AC will be measured in minutes. so not practical.
