Not at all likely, Samuel. The converter/charger is simply plugged into a =
120vac outlet in your coach and the output is connected directly to your 12=
vdc house battery bank. If you have a GMC finished coach the shore power c=
ord has to be plugged into the generator output receptacle which is located=
just inside the rectangular utility door on the drivers side. You just mo=
ve the shore power cord male to either the shore power pole plug or this ge=
nerator output plug to get 120vac from one source or the other. If you are=
getting 120vac into the coach when plugged into shore power, and if you ha=
ve 120vac present at the generator output receptacle when the generator is =
running, then you will have 120vac inside the coach from that source as wel=
l. The converter doesn=E2=80=99t know the difference. There is a circuit =
breaker on the top of the generator that may be bad or tripped. Use a mult=
i-meter and make sure you see 120vac on both sides of that breaker while th=
e generator is running. The generator output receptacle is connected direc=
tly to the output side of that circuit breaker. Jerry Jerry Work T=
