Emery,
My uncle just installed two pair of
plastic louvered vents in his wheel
liners. His buddy did the same. These
are about 2.5"x14" and are black
flexible plastic. He got them locally at
a parts store for about $3 or $4 each.
They really let the hot air out. I was
surprised to say the least.
He installed one underneath the top of
the wheel well liner and one down
further next to the manifold. I was
concerned about road spray from the rain
off the front wheels but he said he
didn't think it would matter since they
are not right on top of the wheel area
where it's really concentrated. It is
just amazing how much hot air is pushed
out of these vents though. I'll wait to
see how it does once he goes through a
big rainstorm before I jump in and do
the same.

Does anyone have any comments on any of
these or have you any other
suggestions. I've got to do something
quick as we want to go to the
Durango, CO rally and if this heat keeps
up we wouldn't make it the
way things are now.
