Home Depot tools ,& blue Aqua Filter

I have a larger Blue Aqua filter for the house and bought it at Home Depot
also. Which brings up another idea.

I have bought a lot of tools in the last several years, most of them at Home
depot. Reason? They will beat anyones price by 10%(and that includes any
advertisement in any current magazine ad price that you take in) AND have
the best warranty that i have ever seen. Bring it back if it is defective
and they give you a new one. Just a thought for those that like to save
money on good tools.

Tom... or any one else that has experience with this Home Depot
warranty...

I buy Sears Craftsman hand tools for the same reason and have tried out
the warranty several times on screw drivers and other hand tools etc.
They don't even inspect the returned items. The lady or guy at the cash
register just says go get another one, and holds on to the worn one to
match against the replacement. When you get back to the cash register,
he/she matches up the two tools and throws the old one in the trash. You
sign the register receipt with your address, and that is it.

How does the Home Depot warranty work... do you need a receipt or what?

year old Moen faucet and I was not even the original owner.
