Holy AC Batman, the Onan works!

Decided to give the Onan a little TLC tonight. Cleaned the plugs,
cleaned the carb, replaced the fuel filter, blew air though the air
filter, replaced the connector for remote start in the generator
compatment and VIOLA! It runs like a top. Ran the air conditioner and
the water heater, no problem (it is a 4kw).

Spits a bit of oil which seems to come from around the starter
area...any ideas? Also seems to be oil in the fan housing. I think I
asked these questions about 6 months ago but am getting forgetful.

It is nice to know that we will have hot water and the roof a/c for the
trip.

Also installed ball mounted bike rack (which will attach to bumper at a
later date to allow Tracker Toad. Installed new coach battery,
installed TC-40 and remote, installed the Prowatt 800 and remote I won
from Statpower (only for microwave and laptop at this point with
extension cords, finished the furnace venting and built in the
microwave....all this since 6:00PM.

T minus 19 hours and counting before we leave for Colorado. Nothing
packed yet!

check the two bolts that hold the oil filter bracket. We found two of
these loose and leaking last weekend.
