I might need to purchase a "Holley EFI Throttle Position Sensor" for my Howell EFI. Does anyone know the model# of the Holly Throttle body in
Howell's 455 GMC kit, or a part number for the Throttle Position Sensor used in the kit?

Fastest way is to call Howell and they should be able to supply them.

Speaking of which: I noticed yesterday, in my land/sea container shed, a
box containing the Holley throttle body I replaced with a Rochester when I
installed the Cad 500 -- 'cause it probably couldn't have supplied gas fast
enough for the Cad. Does it have any value to anyone? Make me an offer...

Upon further review (thanks DuckDuckGo), it appears that the TPS I need is a standard GM part for lots of GM Throttle Body EFI vehicles. Not real
expensive at less than $50 and available today at numerous auto parts stores.

That's it! Bought one from O-Reilly's for less than $50. But a bad TPS is probably not the cause of my random rough running engine problems.

While reviewing some recent data logs with WhatsUp I see that I have Malfunction Code 23 which is IAT LO. That code did not trigger the SES light so I
didn't notice it until I pulled up the "Malfunction Codes" screen during playback.

I added a Intake Air Temperature sensor to my system over 10 years ago. I don't remember how I obtained the IAT sensor I installed.

I'm guessing that it's a standard GM part like the TPS.

Check for a loose connection at the IAC. Dump your datalog to a csv file (WUD, under 'Analysis') and look at IAT temps. I think 'LO' means an open, or
0 degrees. I don't think the IAT is in play during closed loop since in CL fueling is controlled by NB02 or WB02. In open loop, intake air temp is
used to determine the weight of air in the injector pulse width calculations.

I don't use an IAC at all, the light is flashing all the time.
I doubt thats a problem.

I feel a bit stupid here. I have not fooled with my EFI with EBL for close to 10 years and as it turns out my mind is not the steel trap that it
once was.

I think I set the code when I had the air cleaner off (unplugged the IAT) and turned the ignition key to ON. Now I have no idea how to reset the code
now that the IAT connector was reattached.

I don't know the official age, but I THOUGHT I was well qualified at 84.
Then, during a routine visit to the doctor a couple of weeks ago I met an
87 yo there for a similar routine visit -- he's still laying bricks!!! So
now, I'm back to "Young Whippersnapper" status. That gazebo sounds like
you're even moreso! Hallelujah!
